Device for the automatic intake and measurement of radioactive solns. which are required for the check of organs of personnel in nuclear medicine departments, consists of a rotatable plate above the lead-shielded measuring chamber. It has an opening on the periphery for the introduction of a syringe. When the syringe is lowered, it is inserted into a filler spout which is connected to a storage vessel for the soln. in an external Pb-shielded chamber. This saves the exposure of the assistant, who has to hold the syringe, from exposure to radioactivity and produces more accurate results.
