A casing comprises a covering (not shown) and metal side walls 8, 9, 10, 11, each of which has folded side edges making an angle of 15-75 degrees with the plane portion of the wall and being fixed to the folded side edges of an adjacent side wall which have been folded through a complementary angle in such a way that the edge of one wall protrudes out of the plane of an adjacent wall. The folded side edges are secured together by clips, hooks or screws. The walls 8, 9 are screwed to a heating apparatus 1 and a decorative metal sheet 12 glued or magnetically secured to the front wall 9. In another embodiment (Fig. 4, not shown), the casing is formed by slipping side walls (4, 5) over a sheet (2) and frame (3) fixed to the apparatus 1 and securing to them the other two walls (6, 7). |
