PURPOSE:To facilitate the work and assembly of parts of the lens holder of a lens barrel, by tightening and fixing a retaining ring. CONSTITUTION:A lens retaining ring 12 is made of very elastic synthetic resin and has a retaining part 12a, a tapered part 15, slide cuts 14, and detaining parts 12b. A clamping ring 13 is metallic one whose internal diameter is a little bit less than the external diameter of the retaining ring. From the flank of a lens holding barrel containing a lens L2, the retaining ring is inserted as shown by an arrow A. Becuase of the material of the retaining ring and through the operation of the slide cut grooves, this insertion is very easy. Then, a clamping ring 13 is inserted as shown as arrow B to clamp and fix the external-diameter part of the retaining ring 12. This method eliminates the need to work a stopper groove and a screw in the holding barrel, and also facilitates assembling and disassembling. |
