The system is used in a house for connecting sanitary valve assemblies, e.g. mixer taps. An axially displaceable hollow fitting plug is mounted, with sealing, in at least one of two or more mutually aligned pipe plugs led out from a box built in under the rendering and fastened to the connecting pipes. In basic installations, a tubular intermediate piece (4) is connected to the hollow fitting plug (3), with sealing effect. All the pipe plugs (2) are rotatably mounted in the box (1) built in under the rendering. Hollow fitting plugs may be secured in position with securing rings (33). This enables dimensions for taps being ultimately installed to be precisely determined in advance.
