High speed multi-layer twisted strand cable production - has series of controlled feed stations to mfr. electrical or optical cable

The automatic process is designed to produce twisted strand cable, consisting of electrical or optical material, at high production rates. The production process consists of a number of stages (VE1-VE3) arranged in series. End stage has a magazine of the cable material (RO1-RO3), each with its own drive unit (AN1- 013). A spinner stage (HW1-HW3) operates together a three roller assembly (VR11,VR12,VR13) that provide the correct loadings. The cable magazines are arranged to handle different thicknesses for the different layers of cable.
