摘要 PURPOSE:To increase the overall efficiency of the captioned hot water supply system by a method wherein a plurality of temperature sensors are provided in a hot water storage vessel within a heat exchange section for heating so that a heat source is controlled. CONSTITUTION:The first, second and third sensors for sensing the temperature of hot water are provided in the heat exchange section 6. The first sensor 13 is located at a part near the inlet port of a forward passage 5a of a heating pipe passage 5 which communicates with the hot water storage vessel 1, the second sensor 14 is located above a horizontal cylinder 4 and adopted to detect the temperature of the hot water therearound and the third sensor 15 is located below the horizontal cylinder 4 and adopted to detect the temperature of the hot water therearound. When a power source switch SW1 turns ON to start a heating control circuit I, a combustion relay 2 for operating the heat source (not shown) is energized and the temperature of the water in the vessel 1 rises up. Thus, when the values of the sensors 14 and 15 exceed a predetermined temperature set by a detecting signal from the sensor 13, a relay contact T2 goes OFF to interrupt the supply of electricity to the relay Z so that a predetermined small quantity of hot water is constantly kept reserved in the upper part of the vessel 1.
