<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a ceramic member from damage, by forming the peripheral part of a piston, slidably moving along the internal wall of a cylinder, with a ceramic material and arranging said material to a metallic main unit member through a shock absorbing member with large thermal expansion further with compressibility. CONSTITUTION:A piston is of such constitution that its peripheral part slidably moving along the internal wall of a cylinder is formed by a ceramic member 11 provided with a partition 12 half way in the inside of a hollow cylinder while an end of the peripheral part is covered by a disc-shaped rigid member 17 provided with a spot facing part. Then the ceramic member 11 is fitted to a metallic main unit member 13, provided radially with a piston hole 15 and axially with a screw hole 16, through a radially shock absorbing member 19 formed with hollowly cylindrical packing material. Said piston is arranged with a rigid member 17 on a top end of the ceramic member 11 through a similarly axially shock absorbing member 18 and integrally formed by securely tightening said member 17 to the main unit member 13 by countersunk head screws 20.</p> |
