PURPOSE:To discriminate a vacant time slot circulating a loop shape transmission line and to monitor the change in address easily, by permitting the reception of data at the slot to other transmitter and adding the flag inhibiting transmission in an arbitrary time slot. CONSTITUTION:Data tramsitters ST1-ST4 are connected in loop, the device ST1 is taken as the control station of system, timing signal generating functions to restrict the time slot is given, and control is made so that the continuous timing slot timewise is presented on any point on the transmission line. Other devices ST2-4 monitor the time slot at all time in synchronizing it. The data format of this transmission consists of a frame-synchronizm word F-SYNC, flag bit FB indicating the usage state of time slot, transmission inhibit flag bit SI, transmission original address SA, tramsitted address RA, and information word DATA, and the flag bits FB, SI discriminate the vacant time slot circulating the transmission line. |
