Puncture sealant compns. for tubeless tire contain Bu rubber emulsions, satd. hydrocarbon polymer emulsions, valcanizing agents, and activators. Thus, an emulsion of 62 % Bu rubber emulsion(Bu Latex 100) 100, 80% polyisobutylene (Vis - tanex LMMH) emulsion 100, SiO2 20, p-benzoquinone dioxime (ActorQ) 4, and Bz2O2 4 parts is sprayed on the inside surfaces of steel radial tires and dried at -60o to give a 2.5-3 mm layer. The tire is inflated to 1.9 kg/cm2, punctured with 60 nails (length 90 mm, diam. 6 mm), and driven 24h with no loss of pressure at -30, 25, or 80o.
