<p>PURPOSE:To activate cool dead water at the deep layer of a storage dam or the like and to remove scum from the water, by floating a water-treatment tank on the water surface of the storage dam or the like, pumping up the cool water at the deep layer of the storage dam or the like through an air-life cylinder, and aerating the pumpued-up cool water in a forcible aeration chamber. CONSTITUTION:A water-treatment tank 1 provided with a plurality of floats 35 is set afloat on the water surface of a storage dam, lake or the like. The intterior of the tank 1 is divided into a central forcible aeration chamber 6 and a scum-precipitating chamber 7 around the chamber 6 by a partition wall 5. At the bottom of the aeration chamber 6 is attached a water-pumping pipe 14 whose lower end is located in a fixed distance apart from the bottom 4A of the reservoir by chains 24. Blowers 27, 31 mounted on a round floating stage above the tank 1 are driven to blow compressed air upwards from the lower air chamber 20 of the water-pumping pipe 14. As a result, cool dead water at the bottom of the reservoir is fed through the water- pumping pipe 14 into the aeration chamber 6, forcedly aerated with air from an annulus air pipe 28, let overflow into an activated scum chamber 7 and then drained onto the water surface. The scum settled in the scum-precipitating chamber 7 is collected at the inlet of a sucking-up pipe 8 by an inclined bottom plate 1B, and fed into a scum-treatment strainer 11 by a pump 9.</p> |
