PURPOSE:To enable to make a horizontal scanning frequency n-times while keeping the number of scanning lines and the arrangement of signals, by providing a means adjusting the scanning interval arbitrarily, in a TV receiver which converts the horizontal scanning period into 1/n for display. CONSTITUTION:A demodulation circuit 2 picks up a synchronizing signal from a video signal applied to an input terminal 1. The synchronizing signal obtained at the circuit 2 is applied to a synchronizing separation circuit 5, which separates the synchronizing signal into a vertical synchronizing signal and a horizontal synchronizing signal. The horizontal synchronizing signal is applied to a signal generating circuit 9. The circuit 9 generates a pulse voltage in 50% duty cycle from the horizontal synchronizing signal. This pulse voltage is applied to a drive circuit 10. The circuit 10 amplifies this pulse voltage to drive an auxiliary deflection means 11. In this case, the polartiy of the pulse voltage is selected to a polarity giving opposite deflection to the vertical scanning signal, and the amplitude of the pulse voltage is adjusted to an amplitude to move the scanning line by a half the scanning line interval. Thus, the number of scanning lines is made twice the original. |
