PURPOSE:To obtain constant voltage characteristic of a single transistor type converter with simple constitution by a method wherein duration of conduction of a transistor for conversion is controlled by applying a reverse voltage to the base of the transistor for conversion. CONSTITUTION:An emitter current of the transistor QM for conversion is detected with a resistor RE for detection of emitter current. An output voltage of a variable reference electric power source VS is made as variable corresponding to an induced voltage of the secondary winding NS of a transformer T1 for conversion. The voltage detected by the resistor RE for detection of emitter current and the output voltage of the variable reference electric power source VS are compared by a comparator COM. A control circuit ONC of duration of conduction is controlled by an output signal of the comparator COM, and a transmission voltage having proper duration of time is applied to the base of the transistor QM for conversion. |
