PURPOSE:To make boiled rice into a loose state quickly and continuously, by freezing boiled rice while being sent from a cooler wherein the boiled rice is allowed to stand to be cooled, a preliminary cooler, and a freezer successively, and by making the boiled rice into a loose state by the rotary rakes set on the devices. CONSTITUTION:Prepared boiled rice is fed to the mesh conveyor belt 8 of the cooler A wherein the boiled rice is allowed to stand to be cooled, having an exhasut duct on the top, and the rice is allowed to stand and cooled by introducing air from the lower part of the conveyor belt 8. The naturally cooled boiled rice is dropped on the mesh conveyor belt 16 of the preliminary cooler B, and the rice is preliminarily cooled by cooling air from the lower part of the conveyor 16. The boiled rice is then fed to the vibration conveyor of the freezer C or to the mesh conveyor belt 28, where the rice is frozen by the cooling air at extremely low temperature from the lower part of the above-mentioned sending means 28. Each of the devices is equipped with a rotary rake on the upper part of the sending means, which makes the boiled rice into a loose state gradually. |
