PURPOSE:To produce a good developed image of a high image density by arranging a fur brush developing roller provided with a fur brush formed from a electrically conductive fiber containing carbon. CONSTITUTION:A fur brush developing roller 4 is provided with a cylinder type core body 9 of high softness having latex, etc. in its outside, and in the periphery of the core body 9, a conductive rubber tube 10a of intrinsic resistance of 10<2>-10<3>OMEGAcm is outfitted to form a conductive rubber layer 10. Further, on the peripheral plane of this rubber tube 10, a fur rbrush 12 that braids in the type like velveteen a conductive fiber containing carbon of a specific resistance as much as 10<4>OMEGAcm higher than the rubber tube 10 is bonded with a conductive bonding agent 11, and it has excellent abrasion resistance. Further, a revolving axis 8 and the rubber tube 10 are connected through the conductive bonding agent 11, which is arranged to supply uniform bias voltage from the revolving axis 8 through the conductive rubber tube 10a to the backside of the fur brush 12. |
