PURPOSE:To ensure the assured running of a cart along an inductive band, by providing a mat of a desired width that holds the main body of the inductive band having high reflectance hand has an uneven irregular reflection surface and thus securing accurate discrimination regardless of the rainfall or water shrinkling. CONSTITUTION:An inductive band 2 is formed with a main body 21 made of an aluminum tape or a stainless band and a mat 22 that is set at both sides of the main body 21 with a width larger than a photodetector group 14 and has an uneven surface to give irregular reflection to the light V irradiated from a light source 14. When a cart 1 runs, the light V given from the oblong light source 14 of a detection part 13 is irradiated to the band 2. Then one of the photo detectors 15 which are arranged in parallel to the source 14 with a proper interval receives the light L1 reflected from the main body 21. Other detectors 15 receive the reflected light L2 of an extremely small amount compared with the light L1 from the mat 22. Then the level of decision is set a proper value of intensity to discriminate the light L1 or L2. |
