PURPOSE:To surely detect an area discriminating signal and a traffic information transmitting signal and to prevent malfunction, by controlling functions for reception with priority through a detection signal, through the production of the detection signal for the area discriminating signal, only when the traffic information station discriminating signal and the area discriminating signal are in existence at the same time. CONSTITUTION:An FM detection output from an FM detector is separated into stereo signals at a multiples demodulator 1 and inputted to a control circuit 3. A playback stereo signal from a tape player 2 is inputted to the circuit 3, and either one is selected and outputted at a control signal. The detected output is applied to an SK signal detector 4 of a traffic information station discriminating signal SK to generate the detection signal A detecting the presence of the SK signal, and the area discriminating signal BK and a traffic information transmitting signal DK included in the signal SK are applied to BK and DK signal separators 5, 6, respectively. The presence of the signals SK and BK at the same time is detected at a BK signal detector 7, the circuit 3 is controlled, and signals of the detector 7 and a DK signal detector 8 are detected with priority. |
