<p>PURPOSE:To prevent an information processor from malfunctioning etc. due to a fault of a cooling fan, by producing an alarm when a fault is detected either one of the coolong fans and at the same time breaking the power supply of the device off when the temperature rises up. CONSTITUTION:An information processor consisting of a power supply part 3 and an information processing part 4 is cooled by cooling fans 5-7. A fault of either one of these cooling fans is detected by optical revolution detection sensors 8-10. In such a case, an alarm is first produces. It is acceptable if a maintainer has quickly exchanged the faulty cooling fan. If no replacement is carried out and the temperature of the device rises up to above the allowable temperature, temperature sensors 12-14 work to break the power suppley to the device. As a result, the working efficiency is increased, and at the same time an information processor can be protected from a malfunction due to as fault of a cooling fan.</p> |
