PURPOSE:To improve positional accuracy, and to shorten the duration of vibration by exciting a predetermined magnetic pole by DC while conducting pulse-shaped excitation having the same polarity overlapped to the DC excitation by plural number when stopping a rotor. CONSTITUTION:Excitation control signals are applied to a base input terminal TY at a time of when the revolution of the stepping motor with the rotor and a stator each formed in shapes that a plurality of magnetic poles oppose mutually is completed. Pulse signals having a short period are applied to a base input terminal TX at the same time. Accordingly, a transistor QY is at on stationarily, and a transistor QX repeats on-off during that time. Alternative strong or weak torque functions to the rotor of the stepping motor by an exciting coil 3, and the rotor is stopped at an expected stopping position without an error. |
