PURPOSE:To realize high density of a bubble element, and also to prepare a contiguous disk (CD) transfer bubble element which has a uniform surface magnetizing layer and is not deteriorated by heat treatment, etc., by leaving a periodical transfer pattern having prescribed thickness, on a bubble holding layer, and also forming the surface magnetizing layer having prescribed thickness, on said holding layer. CONSTITUTION:On a bubble holding layer 12 whose film thickness and saturated magnetization are (h) and Ms, respectively, formed on a monocrystal substrate 11, a periodical transfer pattern form whose film thickness and etching depth are (h) and 0.1-0.5 times, respectively, is left by means of etching. Moreover, on the holding layer 12, a surface magnetizing layer 13 whose film thickness and saturated magnetization are (t) and M, respectively, is formed so that (tXM)/(hXMs) becomes 0.1-0.5. That is to say, a periodical transfer pattern 21 having no gap in a transfer pattern is formed in an inclined pattern boundary 22 of the magnetizing layer 13, and a position of a bubble element 14 is dispalyed by surface magnetic field direction 1-6. In this way, high density of a bubble element is realized, and it is possible to prepare a CD transfer bubble element which has a uniform surface magnetizing layer and is not deteriorated by heat treatment, etc. |
