PURPOSE:To make the reception and discrimination of plane waves and spherical waves possible by combining elements of prescribed shapes. CONSTITUTION:Plane waves A-C, and spherical waves D-F are supplied to ear drum type diaphragms 1 and 3 having a central projection 2. Elements 1-3 decide the differences in the circumferential curves of the spherical waves and parallel discriminate the plane waves. It is assumed that the plane waves change to spherical waves when reflected in the corners of a room. |
