PURPOSE:To facilitate the loading of new welding wires through releasing the connection between a retaining member and a pressing member, by operating the evacuation mechanism from the outside of the protective cover, in the planetary feeder of welding wires. CONSTITUTION:When a cylindrical cam 17 is rotated counterclockwise by operating a handle 19 of the evacuation mechanism, a pin 15 is abutted to the inclined surface between a wide groove part A and a narrow groove part (a) of a cam groove 171. At this time, the pin 15 is restrained against the direction Y by a pierced hole 161 of a protective cover 16, and moves along the direction X2 and enters the narrow groove part (a). Therefore, the pin 15 is displaced by DELTAx in the direction X2, at the same time, a spring receiving member 13 and a pressing member 11 are also displaced by DELTAx through resisting the force of a spring 14, and thus, the connections between retaining members 10, 10 and the pressing member 11 are released. More over, holding levers 6, 7 are put in freely rotative state around the pivot of a sup porting member 1. When a welding wire 24 is inserted into a through hole 103, a space between planetary rings 8, 9 is expanded and the welding wire 24 is loaded, because the holding levers 6, 7 can rotate freely. After the welding wire 24 is loaded, the cylindrical cam 17 is returned to the original condition, then the wire 24 is fed. |
