PURPOSE:To make highly efficient and highly stable weight measurements, by operating weights by processing resonance frequencies of an oscillating body whose natural oscillation frequency changes in accordance with the weight to be measured, with a frequency filter and a frequency variation enlarging circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a substance is placed on a scale pan 70, the tension changes through a fleture which transmits the force corresponding to the weight of the substance downward, and the natural oscilation of an oscillating body 50 changes. Moreover, the oscillating body 50 is forced to make a resonance oscillation at the natural oscillation frequency corresponding to the loaded weight through an oscillating circuit OSC of a signal processing section II. Frequency signals output by the OSC corresponding to the frequency of the resonnace oscillation of the oscillating body 50 are processed at a frequency filter F1 and a frequency variation rate enlarging circuit FE, and become frequency signals from which fluctuations due to external oscillations, noises, etc. are removed. An operation displaying circuit MP composed of a counter CU, a CPU, an arithmetic control section COT, etc., makes operations based on these signals, and thus, the measurement and the display of the weight are made under a highly resolutive, highly accurate and highly stable condition without effected by external oscillations, etc. |
