PURPOSE:To produce multi-color print whose density would not be diversified, by adhering a particulate or crystalline solid ink electrically on a printing paper to form a solid ink film thereon, and giving an impact on the film by impact means. CONSTITUTION:A platen 1 is negatively the printing paper 3 wound on the platen 1. When a switch 17 is connected with a terminal B to electrically supply an ink tank 13 to charge positively the solid ink 12, the printing paper 3 and the ink 12 are attracted each other, so that when the printing paper 3 is passed over the tank 13, the solid ink 12 is adhered onto the paper 3 to form a solid ink film thereon. Then, when the printing paper 3 is rotated to the printing position, an electric current is passed to a solenoid 9 corresponding to a printing wire 8 to project the wire 8, so that an impact is given to the solid ink film on the printing paper 3, and thereby the particular part of the ink is broken to be transferred onto the paper 3. The ink not transferred is scraped away by a cleaning apparatus 18. Further, if the switch 17 is turned to a terminal R, print with another color can be formed. |
