PURPOSE:To rapidly exchange the material by preparing a purging metal mold and a plurality of molding metal molds in the vicinity of an injection molding machine, setting the purging metal mold upon replacing the metal mold to replace the material, and thereafter replacing the purging metal mold with the molding metal mold. CONSTITUTION:When a predetermined number of moldings are completed, a cylinder 22 of a lifter is actuated, a chuck device 24 is caused to fall and hold the molding metal mold 16c in a mold clamping state, and then the metal mold 16c is removed from a mold clamping plate 7 and fixing plate 6 of the molding machine 1 to hung it up. On the other hand, the purging metal mold 15 placed on a stock conveyor 14 of a metal mold stocking base 13 attached to the injection molding machine 1 is hung up and held by the chuck device 24, and a rotary arm 21 is turned at 180 deg.. Thereafter, the metal mold 15 is inserted between the fixed plate 6 and the mold clamping plate 7, to purge the residual material within the heating cylinder 12 of an injection device 4. On the other hand, at the base 13 side the metal mold 16b is lowered onto a base 17, and a succeeding molding metal mold 16a is supported by the device 24. Simultaneously with the hung-up of the metal mold 15, the metal mold 16b is hung up, and the arm 21 is turned at an angle of 180 deg., and the metal mold is replaced in the similar manner. |
