PURPOSE:To obtain a high sensitivity dry type positive recording material improved in ground density and color tone, by using a specified dye and an ammonium ion- generating substance. CONSTITUTION:The material of the titled consists of an organic silver salt, silver halide, a reductant, an ammonium ion-generating substance, a toner, and a dye represented by the general formulaIin which R1, R2 are H, 1-8C alkyl, aryl, phenyl, xylyl, 1-3C acyl, etc.; one of R3-R6 is 1-2C alkyl, halogen, phenyl, or the like, and the other two of them are H; Z is a benzene or naphthalene ring, or the like; and (n) is 0 or 1. An amount of said dye is preferably 10<-2>-10<-6>mol/mol of the silver halide. |
