PURPOSE:To raise fixation sensitivity without impairing color development sensitivity, by laminating a basic substance-generating layer, a water-insoluble resin layer, a water-soluble resin layer or an emulsifiable resin layer, these 2 laminated resin layers, and a color-developing layer in succession on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:A basic substance-generating layer 2, an interlayer 3 consisting of a complex diffustion prevention layer 31 made chiefly of a water-insoluble resin, a water-soluble or emulsifiable resin layer 32, and a water-insoluble resin layer 33 for preventing deterioration of color development, and a color-developing layer 4 are successively laminated on a substrate 1. The layer 2 consists mainly of a cobalt (III) amine or amine complex, a photoreducing agent, a hydrogen donor, and a compound capable of coordinating around the cobalt ion and forming a substantially colorless chelate compound. The layer 4 consists mainly of a color-forming agent developing color on oxidation, an acid accelerating color development, and a photooxidizing agent absorbing ultraviolet rays and generating an oxidative substance. |
