PURPOSE:To prevent effectively gathering of rust and corrosion by holding a plate impregnated with a volatile corrosion inhibitor which consists of dicyclohexylammonium nitrite and benzotriazole, with a retaining plate having many small holes. CONSTITUTION:Foamed polystyrene plates, foamed polyurethane plate or nonwoven clothes are immersed in the solutin in which dicyclohexycylammonium nitrite and benzotriazole are dissolved in methylalcohol. And after impregnating with a volatile corroson inhibitor, they are dried. Such impregnated plats 3 are put into holes 4 in the inside of a small instrument, and then a retaining plate 5 having many small holes is put from upward into grooves 6 to fix immovably the plates 3 which are impregnated with said sorrosion inhibitor. In this way, in the case of the parts in the small instrument that have elapsed for 2,000hr in the condition of 37 deg.C, 98% RH, gathering of rust is prevented for steel and discoloration does not occur for Ni plated brass, phosphor bronze, berylium bronze. |
