PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for holing work for a conductive hole which penetrates a substrate, by obtaining IF electric power by consituting an LPF at a signal slot line. CONSTITUTION:Electric power for a signal propagates through a slot line 2 for the signal and is applied to mixer diodes 4 and 5, arranged at a branch part, by being held in phase. Local oscillation electric power, on the other hand, is distributed from a microstrip line to lines 10 and 11 at a branch part 9 to be applied to the diodes 4 and 5 by being held out of phase. Then, IF electric power generated by the diodes 4 and 5 is led out of a thin strip conductor 16 connected to an earth conductor surrounded by the lines 10 and 11 between the diodes 4 and 5, and led out of a coplanar line 18 for an IF output through the center of a slot line 17 having high impedance. Consequently, a conductive hole for the conduction between the top and reverse surfaces of the substrate is unnecessary, thereby eliminating the need for holing work. |
