<p>The filter has resonant elements which are in the form of cylindrical, metallic bars which are interconnected by couplers oscillating in accordance with a preset mode. The device is in the form of electromechanical cells forming wide-band filters whose values are accurately set. The dia. of the coupler is defined by a predetermined formula involving the densities of the material forming the coupler and resonator, the speeds of sound propagation in these materials, and the relative frequencies of the upper band to be transmitted. Pref. the coupler and resonator is formed of the same material, and the cells are connected in cascade.</p> |
