<p>PURPOSE:A flexible pipe, obtained by molding a polethylene containing sulfur, having improved resistance to aqueous chlorine, and suitable for a water pipe, etc. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. polyethylene is incorporated with 0.05-2pts.wt. powdery sulfur, precipitated sulfur, etc. preferably sulfur whose surface is treated, and the resultant mixture is then molded. Low-density polyethylene is preferably used as the polyethylene, and the melt index thereof is 1 or less for a pipe or pipe lining.</p> |
