The folding rod type frame for a child's push chair has two parallel rods (1a,1b), each ending in a pair of clamping jaws (10,11). These rods can move between a use position (of maximum length) and a minimum length. The two parts can be locked together in the extended operative position. One slides w.r.t the other and each rod has a stop to limit the movement. The parts are pivoted (8) together at their ends on an intermediate link (7).
