PURPOSE:To perform continuous vacuum impregnation of an object efficiently by generating circulating current of impregnant by providing an impregant jetting nozzle and an object carrying conveyor in an inverse U-shaped impregnation pipe, and installing a deaerating cylinder just above the impregnation pipe. CONSTITUTION:Impregnant is filled in an inverse V-shaped impregnation column 3 by sucking with a vacuum pump from a sucking port 23 of a defoaming tank 9. By jetting impregnant from an impregnant jetting nozzle provided in impregnation pipes 6, 7 on both ends of the inverse U-shaped column, upward current is formed in the pipe 6 side, and current is formed in the pipe 7 side in the direction of discharging the impregnant. This liquid current is promoted by a chain conveyor 10 that circulates in the impregnation column and impregnant tank 1, and forms circulating current in the inverse U-syaped impregnation column. While the object to be processed is carried in the column, contained air is separated and impregnation is effected. Separated air is deaerated to a deaerating tank through a deaerating cylinder 19 installed just above the pipe 6. |
