Longitudinally oriented polypropylene film with increased strength Produced by inducing a temp. drop of from 2 to 25 degrees C between the last heating roller and the first stretching roller of a train, whereby the stretch ing roller has the least possible temp. to achieve optimum film strength and the heating roller has the higher temp which is consistent with that required for maintaining a slipless adhesion of the film to the roller. |
