Dipping exterior rear-view vehicle mirror - has fixed non-silvered glass and manually actuated movable silvered glass

The exterior rear-view mirror for a car suppresses dazzle whilst conserving the image of car headlamps to the rear. It incorporates two glasses. One of the glasses is non-silvered and fixed to the casing and the other is silvered and movable. The movable glass is moved through an angle of 8-10 degrees if it is planar and through 15-20 degrees if it is convex by rotating an arm situated in the base of the casing. The arm moves a stop and the support for the movable glass.
