PURPOSE:To obtain a quality foamed moldig with a poroer dimensionl accuracy in an industrial advantage by externally regulating the distance at least from the die outlet to the solidifaction of a foamed resin in the extrusion foaming. CONSTITUTION:A separate variable sizer 3 is provided inside a fixed sizer 2' following a die 1' mounted on an extruder in such a manner as to be shidable at the right angle to the flow direction of a resin in the distance at least from the die outlet to the solidification thereof. The width, thickness and the like of the resin are regulated from the side and top and bottom surfaces with a plate fixed with several screw 4 screwed down into the sizer 2'. Foamed moldings are produced in a plate-like, cylinder-like and deformed-belt-like form or the like by proper shaping the contact surface between the metal plate and the resin in the variable sizer.
