The pulley consists of a fixed half and a sliding half. The sliding half is spring loaded axially in the direction of the fixed half. An annular display has an outer ring acting as a Belleville washer with radial fingers. These fingers are attached to the tongues of an annular spring. The sliding pulley has a return flange containing slots into which fit the driving lugs. The lugs are extensions of the flyweights which are fixed to the radial fingers of the diaphragm. A second return system consists of a spring acting on a collared bush of the sliding half-pulley and against the rotating shaft.
