JOINING OF SYNTHETIC RESIN DOUBLE-LAYER PLATE

摘要

PURPOSE:To achieve a safe and smooth lamination of a glass fiber reinforced plastic resin by temporarily fixing it at a joint section in a single-layer structure of only a thermoplastic synthetic resin layer left near the joint end by peeling away the glass fiber-reinforced plastic layer. CONSTITUTION:A glass fiber reinforced plastic layer 11B is removed near the joint end to make a single-layer structure leaving only a thermoplastic resin layer 11A. The resin layers 11A are temporarily fastened together with a welding rod 9 by welding both from inside and outside. Further reinforcement is made from outside with a reinforced layer 10 of a glass fiber reinforced polyester and then, a final welding is applied on the inner surface of the joint as desired.
