PURPOSE:In a reversing station of a both-sided copying machine, to opena transport path widely in a narrow space by hinging a second guide member, interlocking with a first guide member in a transport path like a double-leafed hinged door at the time of paper jamming. CONSTITUTION:In a reversing mechanism, a copy paper is transported by rollers 24, 25 and forwarded askew to a reversing device 14 by an accentric guide 26. The paper is inserted between guides 31, 34 and when the trail edge thereof passes through rollers 24, 32, the paper is transferred onto a belt 40 for transporting in the opposite direction, which is stretched between rollers 37, 38, 39 by a suction fan 36, and passes through the roller 31 to be transported to a sorter 12. At the time of clearing a jammed paper in this transport path, a belt unit 81 having the guide 34 is opened downward centering around a roller 37 shaft and a guide 35 is opened centering around the shaft 83 like French doors by releasing engagement of a lock lever 85 so as to form an a dequate opening. |
