PURPOSE:To prevent short-circuiting of strands easing the accuracy during the welding by welding a square-shaped auxiliary metal connection material on the end of a strand to form a closed loop of a coil after it is placed on the end of a cylindrical coil comprising inner and outer double layers. CONSTITUTION:Covered conductors square in the section are bound parallel to make a sheet-like conductor. It is wrapped in a spiral along a clindrical surface while a similar sheet-shaped conductor is wrapped thereon in a reverse spiral to make a cylindrical armature coil comprising inner and outer double layers. An auxiliary connection material 11, at least the bottom surface 10 of which is made of metal in a square shape, is placed on the end of a cylindrical coil and a laser beam is irradiated on the bottom surface 10 to weld core wires 13 and 14 of inner and outer surface 8 and 9 therewith 10. Thus, a closed loop is formed. This prevents the spillage of a molten material with the square side 12, eliminating a short circuiting. |
