Telephone answering machine with the reply transmitted from an integrated store where it is held in binary form. A programmable read only magnetic bubble store holds a delta modulated signal and the store is scanned as a rate laser than 40KH, at most 8 times and at least twice the speech frequency used. Write-in and reach-out of the magnetic bubble store (BM) is controlled by a microcomputer (8048) and clock generator (CL). The microcomputer (8048) comprises counters (CT) responding to the cyclical store scan pulse (TC) and a comparator (CP) to verify the count value. An output bistable (L) and function generator (PC) combine at a gate (CI) into the store (BM).
