PURPOSE:To keep rigidity and suitable loss, by mixing releasing flake mica with pulp, carbon fiber, polyvinyl alcohol and epoxy or the like and foaming the mixture in flat plate or flat cone as a diaphragm of a speaker. CONSTITUTION:As a diaphragm plate 5 of a speaker, the mixture of organic or inorganic fiber such as flake mica, pulp and carbon fiber, with high polymer binder such as polyvinyl alcohol and epoxy is formed as a flat plate-like foamed body. An edge 6 of the plate 5 is fixed at the upper ridge of a frame 4 and a voice coil bobbin 7 wound with a voice coil 8 is fitted at the center. A plate 3, magnet 2 and yoke 1 are fitted to the center opening of the frame 4. In this speaker, since the foaming mica of the plate 5 has greater Young's modulus and specific elastic rate than those of foamed styrol, the plate has good rigidity and suitable loss. |
