PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of an overlapped part and a clearance between adjacent converting fine rectangular areas by converting four peak points of the fine rectangular area of an input image to an output image. CONSTITUTION:A converting processing part 2 divides an input image corresponding to an image memory 1 for input into plural fine rectangular areas, calculates the converting destination information of four peak points of the fine rectangular area and obtains a converting fine rectangular area. Further, the converting fine area is divided into two triangular areas with a diagonal and an inserting arithmetic circuit 4 obtains the coordinates on the input image corresponding to respective picture elements in a triangular area. The coordinates on the input image are inserted, calculated and obtained by two other vectors excluding the diagonal used for division out of three sides of the triangle. Based on the inserted calculated input image coordinates, the converting processing part 2 maps the image information of the image memory 1 for the input onto the corresponding output image. |
