PURPOSE:To select only a stereo broadcast easily, by operating a sound muting circit when a pilot signal is not detected. CONSTITUTION:When the user wants to listen to a stereo broadcast, a switch SW1 is turned on to a operate a pilot signal discriminating circuit 13. When the pilot signal from the detection output signal is discriminated, the pilot signal is sent to a muting circuit 15 to release muting. As the result, this system is advantageous for the user who wants to listen to the stereo broadcast because a monaural broadcast can be cancelled. |
