PURPOSE:To make it possible to collect the thermal energy of a hot exhaust gas from a cooling tower and to denitrate the exhaust gas simultaneously by a method wherein the exhaust gas is used as combustion air as it is. CONSTITUTION:The hot exhaust gas from the cooling tower which is generally used for cooling high temperature water is utilized as the combustion air as it is. Accordingly, an air having a suitable temperature higher than that of the open air can be obtained and it is therefore possible to introduced it into an inlet of a boiler and to supply it to a combustion burner as preheated air to thereby increase the thermal efficiency of the burner. |
