METHANOL REFORMING CATALYST

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the title catalyst stable from the low to high reactive temps. by depositing the oxides of copper and/or Ni or their reduced materials on pulverized gamma-alumina having less than a specified content of a sulfur compd. or a pulverized alumina hydrate. CONSTITUTION:The oxides of copper and/or Ni or their reduced materials are deposited on pulverized gamma-alumina contg. <=1.2wt.% sulfur compd. (as SO4<2->) or a pulverized alumina hydrate (e.g., boehmite). This methanol reforming catalyst is stable from the low to high reaction temps., and has a long service life and high selectivity.
