PURPOSE:To facilitate the registration of a new work to a word dictionary by displaying the contents of a block in the word dictionary determined by the rendering of an input work when an operator selects dictionary display processing. CONSTITUTION:When a new word is registered to a KANA (Japanese syllabary) to KANJI (Chines character) conversion word dictionary, words in a block B, wherein the new word is entered, in the dictionary are displayed on a display. For example, if the block has a vacancy for the word to be registered, the word is registered and when not, the display shows that the word can not be registered. According to the indication, an operator displays the contents of the block B1 wherein the new word 3 is entered to find and erase an unnecessary word in the block, thereby registering the new word. Thus, the registration of a new word to the word dictionary is facilitated to draw a Japanese document having adequate mixed KANJI. |
