PURPOSE:To enable feeding bar code labels piece by piece properly by applying the constitution wherein a shuttle roller carries a piece of the labels from a shuttle position to a feed position with friction, a stopper is used to position the label, a buffle plate prevents the lower labels from shuttling and then the label as sucked is carried to the fixing position of a towel hemming machine. CONSTITUTION:Bar code labels 11 as stacked are pushed out to a receiving roller 53 via a pushing device 55, a shuttle roller 60 carries a piece of the bar code labels 11 from a shuttle position 54 to a feed position 13 with friction, and a stopper 19 receives and positions the labels 11. Also, the lower portions of the bar code labels 11 under a shuttle operation are hindered with a buffle plate 70 against a shuttle motion. Thereafter, the bar code labels 11 at the feed position 13 are sucked and carried to the fixing position 12 of a towel hemming machine 1 on a suction and transfer device 4. In the course of the carriage of the labels 11, the next bar code labels 11 are carried from the shuttle position 54 to the feed position 13. According to the aforesaid constitution, the bar code labels 11 can be fed piece by piece properly and a cycle time can also be shortened.
