<p>The disclosed ((-(substituted amino)-2-phenyl-ethyl) nitrosoamin) acetonitrile derivatives and the ring closed oxadiazolium salts thereof as well as their pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts are antihypertensive agents useful in the treatment of hypertension and serve as intermediates in the production of 3-(2-(dimethylamino)-2-phenylethyl)-N-((phenylamino)carbonyl)sydnone imine derivatives which are useful central nervous system stimulants. </p> |
