PURPOSE:To secure a semiconductor element with excellent accuracy by forming a flexible projection on the part of an enclosure pressurized to the semiconductor element and pressurizing it to the element, thereby deflecting the projection. CONSTITUTION:A flexible projection 13a is formed at the end of an enclosure 13, e.g., an optical coupler, etc., a semiconductor element, e.g., a light emitting element or a photodetector, etc., is used as an adaptive member 16, thereby inserting and presurizing into the enclosure 13, the projection 13a is thus deflected to hold the member 16. In this manner, the element can be accurately held to the enclosure fixedly, thereby remarkably improving the performance of a photointerrupter or the like. |
