<p>PURPOSE:To obtain on the screen of a cathode ray tube excellent images without light and dark vertical stripes, by connecting a series circuit consisting of a capacitor and resistances to a secondary high voltage coil. CONSTITUTION:In a flyback transformer which possesses a primary coil 1 and low-tension and high-tension coils 2 and 3 on the secondary side, a series circuit consisting of a capacitor 5 and a resistance 6 is connected in parallel at least one of partial coils 3a-3c. At both ends of the partial coils 3a, 3b, and 3c flyback pulse voltage which overlaps high frequency ringing is generated, but the ringing current is consumed by a resistance 6. It is possible, therefore, to eliminate low quality images on a cathode ray tube by selecting a suitable circuit constant and thereby damping the ringing.</p> |
